Dan’s Stuff

I didn’t create this page because I have anything especially profound or unique to say. But I have learned a few things in my 66 years of life, and 50 years being a follower of Jesus.

I know that a lot of people right now are rejecting faith, or walking away from their faith. Maybe you have had been mistreated or abused by people in the church or even by church leaders. Some look at the rise of “Christian Nationalism,” or how Christians have thrown their support behind a distinctly unChristian leader. And you want nothing to do with that. I don’t blame you.

I just want to tell you that if you can cut through all the junk, you will find the simple, profound and inviting truth that the Creator of the Universe is a God of love. His Son Jesus came to the earth to show that love to us. And He invites us to come to Him and be surprised to find, not condemnation, but grace and mercy and love, leading to peace, joy, and eternal, unwavering satisfaction and happiness.
